The deadline for submitting proposals for the III International Meeting Histories of Nature and Environments: More than Biodiversity is May 15th. The event will take place from the 24th to the 26th November 2022, in Peniche.

Ecocultural systems, or integrated ‘natureculture’ views, will be the main object of our discussions, considering that different species, both human and non-human, and their interrelationships, can be placed at the centre of the debate and be discussed as agents in historical and current narratives.

The event is organized by the Centre for History (CH-ULisboa) of the University of Lisbon, the Centre for the Humanities (CHAM) of the NOVA University of Lisbon, the Centre for Administration and Public Policies (CAPP) of the University of Lisbon and is supported by Peniche City Council.

Encontra-se aberto até 15 de Maio o prazo para submissão de propostas para o “III Encontro Internacional Histórias da Natureza e Ambientes: Mais do que a Biodiversidade”, que terá lugar entre os dias 24 a 26 de novembro de 2022, em Peniche.

Sistemas ecoculturais, ou visões integradas de ‘natureza’, serão o objeto principal de nossas discussões, considerando que diferentes espécies, humanas e não humanas, e suas inter-relações, podem ser colocadas no centro do debate e discutidas como agentes de narrativas históricas e atuais.

O evento é organizado pelo Centro de História (CH-ULisboa) da Universidade de Lisboa, o Centro de Humanidades (CHAM) da Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, o Centro de Administração e Políticas Públicas (CAPP) da Universidade de Lisboa e conta com o apoio da Câmara Municipal de Peniche.
