We are co-organising the track “Dialogues on the Dire…

We are co-organising the track “Dialogues on the Directionality of Innovation: Alternative Innovation Paradigms from the Global South”, together with Álvaro Fernández-Baldor (INGENIO, CSIC-UPV), Karina Maldonado-Mariscal (TU Dortmund University), Tiago Brandão (CFE-HTC) and Carolina Bagattolli (Federal University of Paraná).
Across three sessions, scholars from Latin America, Europe, and Africa will discuss pluriversal innovation, Buen Vivir, technological autonomy, transformative change, power and exclusion in innovation systems, and alternative pathways for social and territorial development.
The track is also part of a broader research agenda developed within the HTC – História, Territórios e Comunidades, at the Centre for Functional Ecology (CFE), University of Coimbra, dedicated to advancing critical and plural perspectives on innovation, science, technology and society.
